Luminary ROLI LTD is the designated operator of this affiliate program, whose terms and conditions are set out herein.

The LUMI Affiliate Program, operated by ROLI, offers you, as a LUMI Affiliate (“Affiliate” or “you”) the chance to offer access to the exciting, inspiring and one-of-a-kind Eligible Products available at playlumi.com and earn incentives at the same time, as further described herein.  By becoming an Affiliate, you agree to these LUMI Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions.

Getting Started

Participating in the LUMI Affiliate Program is easy! Click "Apply" and register through our affiliate program network, Refersion.

After you complete the online application on the registration page, the team will review your application and, in its sole discretion, may accept you as LUMI Affiliate, which is based on brand and demographic fit and shall be monitored on an ongoing basis. If you are chosen as an Affiliate, then you will receive email approval through the Refersion network. Once approved, you will access your account and be given a unique URL (“Unique URL”) or Code to display on your website and social channels. When Customers use your Unique URL or Code to purchase the eligible ROLI products, which are referenced in the Commission Chart below (“Eligible Products”), you will earn the incentives as detailed in the Commission & Business Details on the application.  

Promoting ROLI Products

You may direct consumers to LUMI products through links to playlumi.com (and associated subdomains) placed on your personal website or social media channels, provided that such websites or social media channels are aligned with the LUMI brand, as determined by ROLI in its discretion. For example, you may not place links to the LUMI website, on sites or social media that contain obscene, vulgar, profane, discriminatory, illegal, harmful or violent material.  

You may not offer any discounts or publish other discounts/voucher codes other than through your Unique URL or as provided and approved by ROLI.  

You may not purchase, own or bid any domain names with the word LUMI or its products’  or services’ brand names (including without limitation LUMI, LUMI Keys, etc) or any variations or misspellings thereof (“LUMI Brand Names”), such as, e.g., www.LUMIaffiliate.com, or www.affiliatelumikeys.com, or otherwise use the LUMI Brand Names in the sub-domain of your website URL, such as http://lumi.affiliate.com. You may not purchase any advertising keywords that contain the LUMI Brand Names. You may not use any LUMI Brand Names in your social media account name. You may not post on any official LUMI social media platform in order to attempt to drive consumers to your website or social media. You may not directly link to the LUMI website from your paid social media ads.

You may use correctly spelled LUMI Brand Names after the domain of your website’s URL, e.g., http://www.affiliate.com/LUMIproducts.  You may use the LUMI Brand Names on your website or social media, provided that such uses are in accordance with LUMI brand guidelines, which may be communicated to you from time to time. This includes using the most up to date version of logos and not altering any promotional materials that may be given to you by LUMI. You agree to immediately cease use of any LUMI Brand Names not in accordance with LUMI brand guidelines upon request by ROLI, or upon termination of your Affiliate status.  

You may not make any representations or warranties regarding the LUMI Eligible Products on ROLI’s behalf, without the prior written consent of ROLI.

You may give your own opinions about LUMI Eligible Products.  You agree to promote the Eligible Products and conduct business in a manner that reflects favorably at all times on Eligible Products and the good name, goodwill, and reputation of LUMI.  

You may not connect the LUMI Brand Names with any products or services not aligned with the LUMI brand, for example, grey market, counterfeit or illegal products/services, products/services that promote violence, discrimination or harm, and products/services associated with pornography or obscenity.

ROLI may provide you with promotional materials, including but not limited to graphic banners, to be used on your website. You may not alter such promotional materials. ROLI reserves the right to review and approve any promotional materials that you may use that contain the ROLI Brand Names, such as email copies, website and social media copies or promotions that may appear in offline communications such as press conferences. You agree to promptly provide ROLI with such copies when requested by ROLI.

Incentives & Commission Fees

Eligible LUMI Referral program participants will earn incentives including, but not limited to, discounts and merchandise dependent on the offer they have applied and been accepted for. ROLI reserves the right to change the incentives structure upon 14 days’ written notice to you. 

Eligible LUMI Affiliates earn a standard commission rate of 10% for all sales of Eligible Products (excluding taxes and shipping fees). ROLI reserves the right to change the commission percentages upon 14 days’ written notice to you. ROLI may also, from time to time, and in its sole discretion, run certain exclusive promotions that Affiliate may be eligible to support sales.

Affiliates who have a high-performance rate may be eligible to earn a higher commission rate, as determined by ROLI on a case by case basis.

Commissions will be approved 31 days after a sale to accommodate for our return policy. Payment of approved orders will occur within 30 days of approval. For example, January orders will be approved by the end of February and commissions will be paid by the end of March. You will need to create a PayPal account in order to get paid your commissions, and you agree to provide ROLI with your PayPal account name and email or any other reasonably requested information in order to facilitate payment to you.

We reserve the right to reverse commissions due to returns, order cancellations, and erroneous order duplications. We also reserve the right to defer or refuse commissions for disputed orders or orders we reject and cannot fulfill.  

We reserve the right to refuse or reverse commissions in the event Affiliate is in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Eligible Product: LUMI Keys (hardware only)

Confidentiality

From time to time, ROLI may provide Affiliates with confidential and sensitive information around the LUMI Eligible Products or certain LUMI campaigns or offers, and Affiliate agrees not to release such confidential information into the public domain at any time before it becomes public by ROLI. Affiliate agrees to only use such confidential information for performing its obligations as an Affiliate and never for its own benefit.

Intellectual Property

The LUMI Eligible Products, LUMI Brand Names, domain names, and promotional materials constitute intellectual property owned by ROLI, including trademarks, copyrights, patents and trade secrets.  Affiliate must respect the intellectual property of ROLI at all times, including full compliance with these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with any ROLI legal policies found here.

Legal Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. This includes, without limitation, applicable laws governing marketing emails (ie CAN-SPAM Act or the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulation (PECR)), and all other anti-spam laws, privacy laws, and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation, and regulations governing false or deceptive advertising. You agree to fully indemnify ROLI for any claims, losses or damages incurred by ROLI or its affiliates which arise out of your breach of these Terms and Conditions.
